It’s no secret that real estate prices in New York City are through the roof. In fact, they went through the roof a few decades ago, so by now they’re probably in the stratosphere, at least. This means that the savvy money-savers out there have to search far and wide to find an affordable place to live.
One guy, however, has found the best way to get underneath New York’s rising cost of living… literally.
As of 2015, the city of New York had nearly 8.6 million residents. Naturally, it’s tough to find affordable places for all of those folks to live.
But at least one man has found a solution to this by living beneath the city.
It’s a completely different world…
That’s not the worst setup in New York, to be honest. That much square footage, in the form of a traditional studio, would probably be at least $1,200 per month.
